さくぶん

はじめまして　ナムです。どうぞよろしく。ぼくは　バージニアのグレ一トフォ一ルズから　きました。かぞくと　ビエンナから　グレ一トフォ一ルズまで　いきました。ビエンナは　ちいさくて　グレ一トフォ一ルズの　となりの　まちです。　りょうしんと　おとうとが　グレトファルスに　います。まちは　ちいさくて　にぎやかじゃないです。　そして　とてもきれいです。ぼくの　うちは　となりの　レバノンの　カフェが　あります。ともだちと　いっしょに　いつも　カフェに　あいに　いきました。ごご　じゅういちじにかん　あいました。カフェで　ばんごはんを　たべて　ともだちと　いっしょに　はなして　ゆっくりしました。まちの　となりに　ゆうめいなデパ一トが　あります。デパ一トで　ちいさいコンサ一トが　ありました。ともだちは　かいものに　いきました。リスバグノアウレトのデパ一トにも　かいものに　いきました。ぼくのまちのとなりに　ありません。ぼくの　まちは　いいです。　そして　ふゆ　休みに　まちに　かえります。

せんしゅうのしゅまつ

たいてい　しゅうまつ　テレビをみます。　オフィスと　サウツパアクトと　グリを　みます。　そして　よく　ともだちの　うちに　いきます。ともだちの　うちは　おおきいうです。きれいなうちです。せんしゅうのしゅまつ　レストランに　いきました。タイの　ノオドロスを　たべます。　となり　いいです。そして　たいくかんに　いきました。ごご　ごじから　ろくじはんまで　ありました。そして　シャワを　あびました。せんしゅうのしゅまつ　ぼくは　となり　いすかしいです。

こんしゅうの しゅうまつの しましたか

こんしゅうの　しゅうまつの　パアチガ　ありました。　きのおのばん　ジェレｌさんの　うしに　いきました。そして　カシヤスさんの　うしに　いきました。　ごぜん　さんじはんに　きました。　そして　ねました。　きょあさ　じゅうにじはんごろ　おきます。　たいてい　まいにち　ごぜん　くじはんごろ　おきます。よく　まいしゅう　しゅうまつ　ごごいちじごろ　おきます。こんしゅう　ぜんぜん　あさおごはんを　たべませんでした。あした　にほんごの　じゅぎょの　Unit テストを　べんきょします。でも　いま　ねます。じゃあまた。

まいにちのせえかつ

きょうは　げつよおびです
あさ　おきます。きょうは　あさごはんをたべます。
ひる　じゅぎょうがあります。ひるごはんをたべます。
にほんごの　べんきょうします。てれびをみます。
うちで　ばんごはんをたべます。ばん　しゅくだいをします。

はじめまして　ナムです　どおぞよろしく。　ぼくは　かんこくじんです　にねんせえです。せんこうは　びじねすです。

When it comes to japanese culture, I am not too familiar with artists, movies, stores, or places. But I do love the food, and I used to be an avid reader of the popular mangas. One of my favorite mangas of all time would have to be Rurouni Kenshin. ひむらけんしんさんは　にほんじんです。けんしんは　swordsmanです。He used to be a coldblooded ばっとうさい during the war but he spends the rest of his life repenting for his sins by swearing not to kill and beating up his old enemies till the verge of death so that they learn their lessons. He looks sort of like a girl but he makes up for it in the ba department. I would definitely recommend it for people who like manga with a lot of action.

Japanese 1 (Jake Nam)

はじめ まして なムですどうぞよろしく

Hello, my name is Jake Nam and I am a sophomore majoring in business. Since I was young, I grew up watching many of the popular Japanese Anime such as Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Rurouni Kenshin, and many others. Unfortunately most of them were dubbed and it was not until my later teens that I was actually introduced to the Japanese language. As I started watching Anime on the internet, I became more inclined to watch those with subtitles. After watching countless episodes I started to pick up key phrases here and there. Soon I developed a keen interest in Japanese and started to appreciate the certain flow the language seemed to exude when it was spoken. To my dismay, I quickly learned that watching Anime with the subtitles on did not serve as the greatest tool for picking up Japanese.

So now I find myself enrolled in Introduction to Japanese and actually wanting to take a class for once in my life.I am excited to acquire this new language and I hope someday to watch my favorite Anime shows without the aid of subtitles.
